MANKATO November 6, 2012 (KMKO) – A Mankato man is accused of sending another man a text on his girlfriend’s cell phone and then assaulting him when he came over. 34-year-old Jesse Lane via text message early last Thursday allegedly from his girlfriend to come over, and the door was unlocked. When the man came over the girl wasn’t waiting for him, but Lane was who allegedly hit him several times. He also allegedly grabbed a knife from the kitchen, a claim he denies. Lane faces Felony charges of assault and terroristic threats.
