MANKATO-November 9, 2012-(KMKO)-The Mankato Area Veteran's Memorial Board is asking the public to honor our fallen, veteran and current soldiers on Monday. All Posts, Auxiliaries and Veteran's groups are scheduled at various places from 8:30 a.m. to about 1 p.m. Those include Veterans Memorial Place, Korean and Veterans Bridge Memorials, WWII Memorial in Wheeler Park, WWI Memorial in Sibley Park and the Vietnam Memorial on Stolzman Road. Applebees will be serving a complimentary meal for all veterans on Monday and HyVee stores in Mankato will serve a complimentary breakfast to all veterans on Tuesday from 6 to 11 a.m. For more information call 934-5943.
