MANKATO November 13, 2012 (KMKO) – Charges were dismissed against a North Mankato man charges with pulling a knife on a female staff member at Mayo Hospital in Mankato. 33-year-old Shawn Stabler was a patient and was having his wrist scanned when he got upset and pulled a knife. Nobody was injured and security got him to drop the knife before police arrived. When doctors later examined him, they said his medication cause him to act that way.
