More Inforation About Missing Mom And Kids

MANKATO (KMKO) – The woman accused of taking her two children from a Pemberton foster home is described as “homeless” and “difficult”.

Reina Ganderilla has been charged with felony deprivation of custody rights.

She lost parental rights in October to the county and they called the children being place in foster care “appropriate” with the placement be temporary.

The three remain missing.

Court records indicates it appears Reina Ganderilla had no intentions of bringing her two children back to their foster home in Pemberton. After saying the 2-year-old boy and 4-month girl were going to “urgent care” in Mankato, Reina Ganderila left the home with the children.  The foster dad reports receiving a text message from Ganderilla saying she was on her way home with her children.

The foster parents and other foster children say  she took the children’s clothing, a large supply of diapers, a camera and cash with her.

While law enforcement have said before they suspect the missing mother and her two children may be on their way to Chicago, a court complaint against Ganderilla speculates she may be traveling by bus.

The foster family told investigators a cousin of hers recently visited her in Mankato and she had talked traveling to see her in Chicago.

She also has other family in the Chicago area.

Ganderilla knew she lost custody of her two children.

According to court records, she attended the first hearing and both orders were served on her.
