MANKATO (TEC News) – The subject of a Level 3 predatory offender meeting last August in Mankato has been released from supervision and is considered homeless. Romeo Alba was convicted in Texas of breaking into a home and assaulting an 8-year-old girl. He has been twice convicted of failing to register, was hanging around young girls in Gaylord and Winthrop and later convicted in LeSueur after tying to grab a girl at a mall. He is still required to check in with Mankato police once a week and as listed in living in the downtown Mankato area. If anyone sees anything suspicios, they are asked to dial 9-1-1.
