MANKATO (TEC News) – The mother of Dustin Murilla’s victim says her son “isn’t the same” since the attack last January. Murilla Tuesday was sentence to over 15 years in prison for the attempter murder of the man. He entered a plea last November. The mother told the court that “part of his life was taken away.” The victim was in the courthouse but was “not comfortable” coming into the courtroom for sentencing.
