MANKATO (TEC News) – During the St. Patrick’s Day holiday weekend, the Minnesota State Patrol and area Law Enforcement will be patrolling for DWIs. St. Patrick’s Day has been a dangerous drunk driving period, and since the holiday will be on Sunday this year, there may be incidents the whole weekend. Sgt. Jackie Sticha, Minnesota State Patrol, said it’s easy to figure out who is drunk:

In the past five years, there have been 11 traffic deaths during this holiday.
