Minneapolis Man Arrested in Waseca County

WASECA COUNTY (TEC News) - Information was just released yesterday about an arrest in Waseca County. At approximately 12:30 PM on Sunday, a Waseca County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report from a rural Waseca County resident that they had come home to discover their garage door window broken out, and an unknown car in the driveway, along with seeing someone inside the home.
Deputy Anthony Martens told the resident to stay in the driveway while he drove out to investigate the incident. When Martens arrived he was informed that there may be someone inside, so he made entry. He reported that the house had been "ransacked" and found the burglary suspect, 47-year-old Carl C. Larson of Minneapolis. Larson had a .375 revolver in proximity of him and with a vehicle search, officials indicated that he had been connected to multiple other burglaries in the area. Larson was charged with 1st-degree burglary, possession of stolen property and felon in possession of a firearm.  The investigation is still ongoing and additional charges are pending.  Larson made his first appearance in court Monday afternoon.  Bail was set at $100,000 without conditions and $50,000 with conditions.  Larson’s next court appearance is scheduled for April 25th
