Tighter Security in Schools

MANKATO (TEC News) - In lieu of the many attacks on the schools, including the recent Sandy Hook Elementary incident, Superintendent Sheri Allen is taking precautionary measures. Allen and other school board members felt the need for tighter security. Surveillance systems will be installed, all doors will be locked and visitors will need to buzz in to have approval to enter. The school board will continue to revisit this topic to provide the best possible safety for students and staff.
