DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Jurors have convicted a man in a Duluth stabbing death. They took about two hours to find Joshua Lee Littlewolf guilty of second-degree murder yesterday. They convicted him of killing 28-year-old Joshua Olson in April 2012. Littlewolf represented himself and will be sentenced in November.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Ramsey County medical examiner says a St. Paul woman whose body was found in the Mississippi River may have been smothered. Dr. Michael McGee testified yesterday in the murder trial of Jeffery Trevino. Trevino is accused of killing his wife, Kira Steger (STEG'-ur), whose body was recovered in May.
BURNSVILLE, Minn. (AP) — Burnsville police are asking the public to help them find missing University of Minnesota student Anarae Schunk and a four-door 1983 Buick LeSabre registered to her ex-boyfriend, who is in custody in a weekend shooting death. Schunk was last seen with the ex-boyfriend. Surveillance video shows her walking into a Burnsville bar with him Saturday night.
SEATTLE (AP) — The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is proposing a revision in the critical habitat designation for a species of lynx listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act. The proposal would designate more than 41,000 square miles as critical habitat within the states of Maine, Minnesota, Montana, Idaho, Washington and Wyoming for the Canada lynx.
