Drash New VP at Chankaska
KASOTA (TEC News), February 19 – Michael Drash, known winemaker from the Napa/Sonoma Calif. Area recently accepted a position at Chankaska Creek Ranch and Winery near Kasota. Drash will takeover the Vice President of Winemaking. Kent Schwickert, Chankaska proprietor and chief manager was looking to expand the winery’s skillsets and felt that Drash had this “in his tool belt” and could bring “experience in other areas that they have been lacking.” Drash spent about 17 years in wine country, perfecting his skills and eventually bought Tallulah Winery with his wife. They took the chance to relocate the Midwest to be closer to family and look forward to the adventures ahead.
