Mankato Woman Charged with Labor Trafficking

MANKATO (TEC News), March 27 – A labor trafficking charge has come to rest as a Mankato woman pleads guilty. 59-year-old Tieu Tran illegally brought three Vietnamese women to the U.S. and forced them to work at her son’s restaurant according to multiple news sources including KEYC. Tran faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
