Rep. Johnson Continues to Advocate for Agriculture Community; Farm to Food Shelf Bill Passed

MANKATO (TEC News), April 24 - Rep. Clark Johnson spoke with us this morning about the bonding bill as well as other agricultural bills in the process of being evaluated within legislation. He said recently the Farm to Food Shelf bill was passed, which he was a co-author on. Johnson was quite excited for that to go through to help farmers with funds in order to take extra crop harvested and bring it to food shelves all over the area. He feels this is a tremendous step in giving back to the community and continues to say that congress is working hard to create bills to better the state.
