MANKATO – Prosecutors say a Vernon Center man accused of sexually assaulting a young girl is accused of violating a no-contact order while in jail.
37-year-old Jeremy Giefer is said to have told his wife to tell the victim that he loved her.
Giefer is sitting in jail on $1,000,000 bail after previously violating the no contact order.
A judge is expected to rule on a prosecution request to raise Giefer’s bail to $2,000,000.
