MANKATO -- Minnesota State senior sprinter Linnelle Clark has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Track Athlete of the Week.

Clark claimed a pair of wins in last week's Minnesota State University Alumni Open.

She opened the event with first-place finish in the 60-meter dash turning in a time of :07.99 and followed it up with a fifth-place finish in the 200-meter run with a time of :27.44.

Minnesota State returns to the track this weekend as it travels to the Minnesota Open, Saturday afternoon.
