OLIVIA – The trial of a Marshall man accused of last May’s kidnapping and rape of a Fairfax newspaper carrier ended Tuesday on its second day with a guilty plea.
25-year-old Matthew Fahey threatened to shoot the 14-year-old girl, dragged her into his car and drove her to a rural cemetery where he sexually assaulted her.
Fahey pleaded guilty to charges of kidnapping, criminal sexual predatory conduct and first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
