Mug Shots And Break Down Of Weekend Arrests



MANKATO -- Mankato police made numerous arrests over the weekend in connection with two unrelated burglaries.

On Friday, officers received a call about a burglarly around 9 p.m. at 1801 Monks Avenue. When the victims opened the door, the suspects pushed their way through and damaged and stole property. In this incident, the suspect and the victims knew each other.

The following have been arrested:

James Antione More, 19, of Mankato
2nd Degree Burglary

Robert Lee Fink, 20, of Mankato
2nd Degree Burglary

David Swairey, 19, of Mankato
2nd Degree Burglary

Anthony Charles Medcalf, 19, of Mankato
2nd Degree Burglary

Arrested and released:
Valerie Hines, 33,  of Mankato
2nd Degree Burglary

On Sunday, Mankato Department of Public Safety police officers responded to a driving complaint at a local university's residence hall around 3:17 a.m. Shortly afterwards, another call came in about a robbery occuring in that same residence hall.

The police officer went to investigate this incident and learned that two suspects had entered the room through an open door. Police officers discovered the two complaints were related. Seven people were arrested in connection to this incident:

Shamarke Said Omar, 18, of Minneapolis
First degree burglarly, aggravated robbery, felonies
Providing and false name and address to police officers, misdemeanor








Zacharia Ali Salat, 19, of Plymouth
Aiding an offender, felony









Ismail Adam Abdo, 18, of St. Paul
Aiding an offender, felony











Patrick Sean Kopf, 18, of Mankato
Aiding an offender, felony











Abdullahi Farah Ali, 19, of Mankato
Aiding an offender, felony










Najib Ali Osman, 19, of Mankato
Aiding an offender, felony
