On Friday, officers received a call about a burglarly around 9 p.m. at 1801 Monks Avenue. When the victims opened the door, the suspects pushed their way through and damaged and stole property. In this incident, the suspect and the victims knew each other.

On Sunday, Mankato Department of Public Safety police officers responded to a driving complaint at a local university's residence hall around 3:17 a.m. Shortly afterwards, another call came in about a robbery occuring in that same residence hall.
The police officer went to investigate this incident and learned that two suspects had entered the room through an open door. Police officers discovered the two complaints were related. Seven people were arrested in connection to this incident:
