Police Say Concert Goer Too Violent For Mankato Mosh Pit

MANKATO -- Mankato police arrested a Rosemount man after they say the violence of a mosh pit Tusday night at the Hinder concert got out of control.

John Wilkerson, 30, entered a guilty plea Wednesday in Blue Earth County District Court to one count of Disorderly Conduct. He was ordered to serve his two days in jail and pay a $277 fine.

The police report says Wilkerson's conduct escalated to "assaultive behavior" when he ventured out of the relm of the pit and "violently shoved and knocked unwilling patrons to the ground."

Police say no one was injured.
