MnDOT Worker Presumed Drowned In Minnesota River

MANKATO -- A MnDOT worker is presumed dead after his backhoe flipped while he clearing brush from Seven Mile Creek.
The accident along Highway 169 happened around 11:50 a.m. according to the State Patrol.
It's believed the man, a nine-year veteran of MnDOT, was swept away in the swift currents of the river.
As of right now, Highway 169 remains closed in both directions.
