MANKATO – On a 3-2 vote, Blue Earth County Commissioners Tuesday selected Bob Meyer to become the county’s next administrator.

The long time county Human Service  director has been serving as interim administrator since previous interim administrator Katie Nerem resigned in early February.

Nerem had the endorsement from retring administrator Dennis McCoy for the position.

Vance Stuehrenberg and Will Purivs both supported Assistant County Attorney Pat McDermott  for the job.
