Struck Among MnDOT Workers To Be Remembered Tomorrow In Mankato

MANKATO -- Governor Mark Dayton will be in Mankato Thursday to speak at the Minnesota Department of Transportation's (MnDOT) Workers Memorial Day.

This year's annual program will have even more meaning for the Mankato MnDOT headquarters.

It has barely been a month since Mike Struck (left) died in an accident while clearing flood debris from Nicollet County's Seven Mile Creek Park.

46 workers have died while working on MnDOT construction and maintenance projects since 1960.
