MANKATO – A man charged with possessing child porn in a Mankato trailer park could be close to reaching a plea agreement. Attorneys met in chambers prior to Monday’s scheduled hearing for Jeremy Wolfe and when they returned to the hearing, both sides told the judge the potential for a settlement was under discussion.
Wolfe was arrested and charged after police responded to a disturbance outside his Eastwood Manor trailer home in Mankato. While being interviewed by police, Wolfe told investigators where they could find the child porn at the trailer.
His roommate, Rodney Oberg, faces more serious charges of criminal sexual conduct involving a young resident of the mobile home park.
Prosecutors say part of any deal would include Wolfe testifying against Oberg, should his case go to trial.
