Attorney For Oberg Asks For More Time To Review Evidence

MANKATO – With evidence still coming in, Monday’s scheduled hearing for a Mankato man charged with criminal sexual conduct involving children in the Eastwood Manor Mobile Home Park has been continued until early June.

61-year-old Rodney Oberg remains in custody on nine felony counts including possession of child porn.

In court, prosecutor Pat McDermott eluded to additional evidence since the last hearing. Oberg's attorney Jeannie Blatz told the court she had just received key discovery on Saturday did not have time to review the evidence before today's hearing.

Oberg's roommate, Jeremy Wolfe, was in court Monday morning. His hearing was also continued as a possible plea agreement is being discussed.
