Hurricane Irma Meets Sister Margaret Ann

Florida residents are all doing their part to clean up the mess left by Hurricane Irma, but no one is getting as much attention as a rough and tough nun with a chainsaw.

Sister Margaret Ann was spotted by a cop outside Archbishop Coleman F. Carroll High School in Miami clearing the roads of downed trees and limbs – and she clearly knows how to handle a chainsaw like a boss.

The officer couldn’t believe what he was seeing so he stopped to take video of her and then shared it on Twitter.

Sister Margaret Ann says, “There was a need. I had the means, so I wanted to help out.” She says others saw her and were inspired to help, and “it became a really good community project”
