Attention Candy Corn Haters

Some people think candy corn is the best part of Halloween. Others just think it’s gross. While we’re not taking sides, we’ll note that we just learned that candy corn is made of bugs! Seriously. The “confectioners’ glaze” that coats the colorful treat contains “lac-resin” — a goo that a tropical critter called the lac bug secretes to protect itself.  Well, it is Halloween.
