Beware Of This Gift Card Scam

If you’re thinking about giving gift cards for Easter, take a second to find one that isn’t sitting on one of those big gift card display racks in the middle of the store. Those might be fine, but they also could have been tampered with by scammers looking to profit off of you. Scammers will record the information on the back of the card and, once it’s activated, they can steal your gift card funds before anyone else has a chance to use it. To be safe, you can always opt for a digital gift card, instead.
