If you, or someone you know, has never flown a commercial airline, you are one of the few Americans who have spent their entire lives on the ground. A new survey conducted by Airlines for America found that a record 90% of Americans have taken a commercial airline at least once in their lifetime. In comparison, in 1977 that number was only 63%. Also, more people are expected to fly this spring than ever before. A record 158 million Americans plan to fly now through April.
