(Mankato, MN) – Local radio station Rock 95 will hit the road for twelve hours this week as they roll around the river valley fundraising for veterans.

On Friday, June 14th, station Content Director Jeff Spence will be joined for Rock Recon II by area vets, speakers, and even local bands.  The crew will hold a mobile broadcast from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. collecting donations for the DAV Minnesota Chapter 10 Lyle C. Pearson as they drive around town.

The Rock Recon crew will leave the station’s North Mankato studio at 7 a.m. and wrap up with a final stop at the Morison-Ario VFW Post 950 at 6:15 p.m.  The station will raffle off one of three Franchi SG Affinity #41025 shotguns from Scheels All Sports in the River Hills Mall.  The other remaining shotguns will be given away in St. Peter and North Mankato.  Raffle tickets are available at Post 37 in St. Peter, Post 617 in Eagle Lake, Post 518 in North Mankato, and the Morison Ario Strand Post 950.

Donations can also be made at Profinium and via the Rock 95 website, where a complete list of stops on the broadcast can also be found.
