(St. Paul, MN) – The Minnesota Governor’s Residence will open for public tours next week.

The 2019 summer tours will run Wednesday, July 24th through Saturday, July 27th.  Guided tours will be given every ten minutes on Thursday, July 25th and Friday, July 26th between 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., while the grounds and gardens will stay open to the public until 1 p.m. on tour days.

Reservations are required for any groups, but walk-ins will be accepted based on availability.

Volunteers from the Woman’s Auxilliary of the Minnesota Historical Society will be on hand to answer questions in each room on the first floor and lower level of the residence.

There is no fee to tour the Governor’s Residence, but visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for Second Harvest Heartland.
