AD ASTRA: Brad Pitt Hurls Into Deep Space in First Trailer for Sci-Fi Drama

“You have a job to do. Are you ready?”

That’s the voice of Donald Sutherland in the first trailer for James Gray’s highly anticipated sci-fi drama, Ad Astra. First announced in 2016, the much-delayed film follows an astronaut son (Brad Pitt) in search of his astronaut father (Tommy Lee Jones) who’s entangled in an interstellar mystery.

Although it was slated for release this past January, 20th Century Fox under the Disney banner will launch it on September 20th ahead of award season.
