At long last, former Saturday Night Live cast member Adam Sandler returns home this weekend to make his hosting debut — something he insisted just a few years ago that he’d probably never do. Well, if this new promo is any indication, Sandler probably should’ve stuck with his first instincts about returning, because after a quick trip down photo-memory lane, he learns a disturbing secret about returning to SNL: Once you’re back, you can never leave again.

After Sandler’s episode, SNL’s 44th season will wrap up later this month when Emma Thompson hosts on May 11 alongside the Jonas Brothers, followed by the big finale with the immortal Paul Rudd and DJ Khaled.
