This tiny dancer is warming the internet’s cold heart by busting a move to celebrate being cancer-free for almost a year.

The viral video, uploaded to Instagram on Sunday, shows New Jersey dancer Kennith Thomas, 35, bouncing with joy along with his son, Kristian, 2, to the pulsating beat of a track by rapper Lil Mama.

“Father Son chemistry 11 Months Cancer Free!!” reads the caption for the viral clip.

When asked about the inspiration for his internet-igniting dance duet, the father of four told PIX11, “I figure why … be the dad that’s grieving and complaining about his son being in the hospital and his family being in the hospital all day?”

Still, it’s been a long and painful journey for Thomas, his wife Josilyne and the rest of their family.

Kristian was diagnosed with leukemia in the summer of 2018 when he was 1 year old. The cancer was caused by a low platelet count, a side effect of the Down syndrome the little boy has lived with since birth.

In an effort to make the most out of a horrific situation, Thomas — owner of New Jersey’s Kenny Clutch dance studio — decided to document his son’s courageous battle with cancer the best way he knew how: by breaking it down on camera. He released a series of popular Instagram dance videos marking each milestone of Kristian’s journey.

Next month will mark a full year since Kristian’s remission.

“For people who have to go through this in the future — I want them to take a look at our story and take a look at our life and see that you can get through this with positive energy, and it’s going to be fine.”
