Hockey Dad Mics Up 4-Year-Old Son During Practice with Hilarious Results
As you will undoubtedly have realized if you’ve watched the video above, you’ll understand why Mason is the latest viral sensation. Some of the things the toddler says during practice are downright adorable. Mason claims he needs to pee, starts up an impromptu sword fight with his hockey stick, and on a couple of occasions he gets distracted by the thought of visiting McDonald’s after practice is over.
While all of that is incredibly cute, what we love about the video most are the times Mason really focuses and succeeds on the task at hand. In his quest to one day become an NHL superstar, Mason’s current skill to tick off is mastering how to skate with both feet. For most of the video, he pushes himself along with one foot. However, the excited sounds he makes when he begins to achieve his goal and picks up speed is almost too much for us to handle.
At the time of typing this, the video of Mason’s training has racked up more than 1.5 million views in just 48 hours. Mason’s dad has asked via the video’s description whether people would like to see more of the same from Mason. We’re going to go out on a limb and say that the answer is a resounding yes. He has also teased the addition of a GoPro to future installments.
