“Karen” Busted for Shoe Store Mask Meltdown

An Oklahoma Karen who refused to wear a mask in a shoe store and then threw her Sketchers at an employee is now facing assault charges for her little meltdown.

The 56-year-old Karen, whose actual name is Marlana Arbaugh, was asked several times to put on a face mask in the store, but she repeatedly refused and continued shopping. When she walked up to the counter to pay for her shoes, an employee told her she had to wear a mask to complete her purchase. That’s when she lost it and threw boxes of shoes at the worker, striking her in the face and chest, before leaving the store and driving away.

Unfortunately for the Karen, she left her wallet containing her driver’s license at the cash register, so her name was given to police and they ultimately charged her with simple assault.
