New in Theaters Today: “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts”

The seventh installment in the “Transformers” series is another prequel.

This one is set in 1994, seven years after the events of “Bumblebee”.

It stars Anthony Ramos from “In the Heights” as an ex-military electronics expert who tries to carjack Mirage (voiced by Pete Davidson). They become buddies and then work together alongside the other Autobots to save the world.
