It seems sibling rivalries can even start before birth, after a pair of identical twins from China were pictured “fighting” in the womb.

The two baby girls — nicknamed Cherry and Strawberry online — can be seen “boxing with each other” on the ultrasound scan taken late last year.

The twins’ dad, only identified as Tao, explained to local press in China that he had filmed the scan, which took place in the city of Yinchuan.

Like the rest of the internet, the 28-year-old dad thought the clip was hilarious and couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw his little girls “boxing with each other for a few rounds.”

Published on China Daily, the adorable clip has gone viral, with Tao explaining he never imagined his twins would be “stars before being born.”

And according to the dad, it’s not the first time the girls have been pictured interacting in their mom’s womb.

According to Tao, they’ve also been sharing sisterly hugs too.

“We were so touched. The babies were so small and they knew how to look after each other,” he said.

“I believe they will live with each other in harmony when they grow up.”

And viewers agreed, with one commenting: “They fight in [their mother’s] belly, but will love each other when they are born.”
