Watch The Shortest Song to EVER Hit The Charts

In September, the Japanese comedian Pikotaro posted a humorous 45-second song, “PPAP” (that’s short for “Pen Pineapple Apple Pen”) to YouTube, where it quickly became a viral sensation, generating over 131 million views. On Friday, Guinness recognized it as the shortest song to ever crack the Billboard 100 chart. Pikotaro warns his imitators–the song has spawned over 40,000 lip-synched versions online–not to use real fruit in their interpretations, as that would be wasteful.  What do you think of PPAP???
