When You’ve Gotta Go, You’ve Gotta Go!
When people need to use a public restroom, they want the facility to be clean, free of bad smells, and offer adequate privacy, soap, and toilet paper. Unfortunately, that’s not always what they get, and it actually varies from state to state. Lavatory Lab, which publishes information about bath and shower products, conducted a national poll to find out which states have the best public restrooms, and in which states you’d be better off holding it in. Each state was scored on a scale of 1-to-10 with 10 being the best, and it found that the best restrooms to relieve yourself in are found in Vermont and Maine, with each receiving a top score of 8 out of 10. Conversely, the worst facilities, with a low score of 3.5 out of 10, are in Wyoming. New Hampshire isn’t much better at 3.8.
