Woman hospitalized following car vs. semi crash

(Mankato, MN) – A South Dakota woman was injured in a car vs. semi crash in Watonwan County Monday morning.

The state patrol says Sadie Elizabeth Woods, 19, of Winner, SD, was eastbound on Highway 60 east of St. James when her vehicle collided with a semi that was turning left into the eastbound lanes.

The semi driver, David Brian Pemrick, 58, of Faribault, wasn’t injured. Woods was transported to Mayo Clinic Mankato with non-life threatening injuries.

The state patrol’s crash report lists the crash time as 5:58 a.m.
