Just reach for that bowl of nuts. A new study published in Clinical Nutrition found that eating as little as one ounce of nuts per day can lower your chances of depression. All nut consumption was recorded, including almonds, cashews and pistachios, salted nuts, roasted nuts and peanuts. Of the 13,500 adults surveyed, those who ate nuts were 17% less likely to fall into depression than those who did not.
