GAME OF THRONES Oreos Finally Arrive This Week!
We’ve been hearing that Game of Thrones Oreos are coming for what feels like a long night — now, they’re finally here!
Back in February, Nabisco confirmed that the rumors were true, and now, with less than two weeks left before the premiere of the HBO blockbuster’s eighth and final season, we’ve got all the sweet, sweet details on the limited edition treats.
A Westerosi take on the iconic cookie, Game of Thrones Oreos will have the same chocolate wafers and sweet vanilla cream that you know and love, but will be embossed with four unique designs that fans will instantly recognize.
Each pack will come with cookies decorated with the sigils of the Lannisters (lion), Targaryens (dragon), and Starks (direwolf), and a creepy portrait of the Night King, so you can chomp away where your loyalties lie as you watch the remaining Great Houses do battle.
The special packs will be available nationwide starting April 8, and you can find them everywhere Oreos are sold, while supplies last. Oreo is predicting this will be one of their largest limited edition drops of all time.
To celebrate the announcement, Oreo also released a hilarious cookie recreation of the show’s iconic opening credits, using 2,750 animated Oreo cookies to illustrate the ever-changing map of Westeros. The brand collaborated with Elastic—the creators of the Game of Thrones opening sequence—to conceive the video, and you’ve got to see it to believe it.
